we colored Easter eggs at my house this year. We painted them with paint, and used glitter and color dye. It was lots of fun. Jorgen just threw his egg on the floor and ripped it apart!

Bonsai Tree!

So we went to Tri-Cities for the day to do some shopping and have dinner. After dinner we were on our way home, we seen a guy that was selling Bonsai Trees! So we stopped to look and we found one we liked and bought it! We love this tree...

It is a 20 year old Japanese Juniper.

Trip to See Aunt KT's Graduation!

On Tuesday after Jorgen's birthday party we flew down to Phoenix, AZ to attend KT's College graduation! It was was a very short trip we were only there March 23 until March 25. We hope to be making another trip down later to spend some more time with my family. CONGRATS KT... Jorgen turned a year old on March 20. He is getting soo big. He has been walking since he was ten months. He says a few words. He says Mama, Dada, thanks, damn, oh shit, and a few more. He loves to play out side. He sleeps through the night and takes one (sometimes) two naps a day!

Well i haven't had much time to sit down and blog about much but here goes the last five weeks all summed up...

After our family's loss we have done lots and lots to keep busy. Jorgen is feeding himself and eats almost all table foods. He has five teeth now, and is walking... His daddy taught him how to splash in the bath and also how to blow bubbles with a straw! What fun that is for him in the bath or in his cups... He has also learned that the doors open on the entertainment center and he can pull all of the movies out... and this last weekend he had his first Krispy Kreme Doughnut... We have spent a lot of time with Naveha and she loves Jorgen. Jorgen says Mama Dada, and his latest Da Ma. I almost forgot... he even gives kisses now...

He is a VERY active kid. He is always busy doing something, and he loves to go outside... it is still a little cold and he is not walking well enough but if the door is open he makes a run for it... He did escape once this winter when it was snowing and crawled right out in to the snow... he loved it!

Loss of a Loved one...

My grandfather Felipe C Pruneda, went to be with God, on Dec. 29 2009. He had been battling cancer for the last couple of years after spending about 10 years in remission. His loss was nothing sudden so we as a family had a short chance to spend time with him and love him before he left us. We had the chance to say goodbye, unlike many people, and for that i am greatful.

I am glad Jorgen got to meet him, and my grandpa got to hold him... I have pictures to remember all of that.

I love him and i cant wait to see him again some day, I know he is up there looking down on all of us now. We love you grandpa.

Christmas 2009

We spent Christmas running around everywhere. We just have so many places to be and so little time to be there...

Jorgen got lots of fun toys and cute clothes.

It was also the last Christmas for my grandpa. He went to be with God four days after Christmas, but that is something i will blog about later.

I didn't take any pictures from Christmas day, we were just to busy busy busy. Next year we are going to slow down and enjoy ourselves.

Jorgen is nine months old Now... He is getting sooo big... He weights 21 1/4 lbs. He is crawling and can pull him slef up on anything and everything... He is cruising and getting braver and braver... He will let go and stand by him self but still not brave he enough to take a step... He walks when u hold his hands... He has two teeth and eats most foods... His favorite is ravioli... he likes to feed himself and loves to play with anything that he can chase... His first Christmas is almost here...

My little tiny baby is growing up and soon will be walking... Tonight right before bed I laid him down and went to get him a bottle. When I came back in his room this is how I found him...

He has been crawling for about a month and has started pulling himself up on things... He still doesn't have any teeth but his first two are starting to cut... He has little swollen gums... and he is drooling and chewing on everything. I can feel them but still cant see them....

This was the first snow of the 2009-2010 Winter Season. Not much and it didnt stick around very long but it was snow.

This was also the first time Jorgen has ever seen snow. He thought it was pretty cool he sat in from of the door for about 5 minutes. Then just as I went to get the camera again he decided he was going to go out and play in it... He did get to touch it but I had to bring him in he didnt have enough clothing one... Silly boy... He was mad at me for a couple minutes so I open the blinds on one of the windows so he could see the snow...

Weekend in Seattle with Naveha...

This last weekend we went to Seattle. We took Naveha with us to the children's museum downtown Seattle. It was lots of fun and Mitch was a good sport, and played Naveha the entire time we were there. We were there for about 4 1/2 hours.

On Wednesday, we had a pumpkin carving party for the kids... it was lots of fun.... almost all of our family came over and we got to carve pumpkins. The kids each got their own pumpkin... I used our other camera so I need to get the pictures developed. New Bathroom....

Ok, so as many of you know, Mitch and I decided to start painting our house to make it look more like a home on the inside... We were sooo excited to get the bathroom paint that we went ahead and got the bed room paint too... It only took a couple of days, although it is not totally complete, it is all we are going to do for now... We need to get some towels and a couple more hangers. Here are a few pictures from before...

These are the lights that we had, we replaced all of the lights in the bathroom. I am not crazy about "Hollywood dressing room lights"...

Notice the light hanging on the ceiling, it has also been replaced...

The shower is a story in its self. I wanted a new shower HEAD. Nothing more, but Mitch said "If we are going to do, we are going to do it right!" So we replaced the whole thing. Mitch actually ended up breaking the knob thing(above), He pulled the handle right off. So we thought we were going to have to hire a plumber. Lucky enough Sara is married to a handy man... Spike came over this last weekend and helped Mitch fix the shower, Well worth the wait.... I LOVE MY NEW SHOWER HEAD!

Ready to Crawl...

Jorgen is getting to be a BIG boy fast... He is getting ready to crawl, i am thinking that in the next couple of weeks he will be crawling. He still has a little but to learn bit it is coming a lot quicker then I would have liked... He has learned how to move his hand forward and both knees, at the same time... If he would figure out that it goes one knee at at time he would have it... I don't know what i am going to do when he starts crawling... i used to just sit him down where he couldn't get into anything.... now i sit him up and i turn my back for a minute and he is on his hands a knees, scooting..... I will get pictures of him crawling soon...

Today we went in for his check up along with his shot. He is 26 3/4 in tall and weights 19 lbs... He lost a little bit of weight. The Doctor said that he is looking good.

Today is Grandma Sara's birthday so we went over there with an Ice Cream cake and celebrated her birthday with her.

Also, Jorgen is SIX months old today. It is hard to believe that he is that big... He can sit up all on his own and he is starting to crawl. He has figured out how to get on to his knees and is now starting to move his little legs forward one at a time, he will be crawling in no time. His Six Month Check up is on Tuesday along with his shots. I am not sure how much he weights or how tall he is but i will let you know on Tuesday. I know he is around 20 lbs... His hair is turning lighter and he is in 9 to 12 month clothes... Well i will get pictures up of him soon... and i will let everyone know how his appointment goes...

Onion Harvest 2009

Well as I already said, Harvest has started and it is only just begun. Jorgen is enjoying his with Mitch on the tractor.

We had a bit of extra time, so we got out "introduced" Jorgen to onions. He wasn't too sure about them but he did sit in a windrow for a little while and look at them.

Every time Mitch gets out to check boards, Jorgen stands on the "captains seat" and watches him... He likes to watch the digger too...

Harvest

So harvest is underway, and that means early mornings, long days, and late nights. It also means that we don't get to so much of Mitch, so the last couple of weeks Jorgen and I have been going out and riding with Mitch for a couple of hours. Its nice to be able to see him, and Jorgen enjoys riding on the tractor, he watches all of the tractor, and he likes to see the onions come off the digger into the trailer. Mitch enjoys us coming out and riding with him since when he goes to work most days Jorgen is still asleep and now when he gets home Jorgen is already in bed. So all in all, we have had a great time with harvest. Haven't had much time for pictures but we will get some.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MITCH, KT AND GUY...

September 6th was Mitch and KT's 24th Birthday. Since they were born during harvest Mitch always has to work on his birthday. Well this year he didn't, since it rained cats and dogs on Saturday night he got the day off. We had dinner and a small party at his dads house. It was nice. We had one of his favorite foods. Steak. it was a nice little dinner with family. I got him a John Deere cake, which turned out great. Pictures to come soon.

September 9th was Guy's birthday. He had to work on his birthday but they did have a little pizza party for him at the office!!

This last week Jorgen has been sleeping in his room (right next to our room), in his crib. He is doing really well. I hate it I feel like he is soo far away. He is so becoming independent, he wont let me rock him or hold him while he goes to sleep. He wants to be laid down by him self and he falls asleep by him self. He rarely ever lets me hold his bottle for him any more. My little Man is getting way to big way to fast... (TEAR TEAR)

So yesterday morning Jorgen scooted right off the side of the bed and on to the floor. When Mitch got home last night he was worried about the way he had been acting. Jorgen wasn't hi silly, giggly happy self, so we decided to take him in to the hospital. After four hours of waiting Jorgen got a Head CT and it came back normal as can be. He weights 18 lbs 4 oz, and is 26 1/2 in long... He seems to be feeling a little better today. He is still a little fussy but seems to be feeling better. We got home at 2 am and he slept until about 6 just he usually does...

A night on the Coast!

This last Saturday and Sunday we spent on the Coast.

On Saturday we drove over to Seattle to watch the Mariners lose to the Yankees, but well worth the drive because the game was fun. We had a lot of fun hanging out with the guys from the shop. Frys was great with Jorgen, he even put him to sleep while Mitch and I went to the Team Store.

Some of the guys at the shop say now that Mitch shaved his head he looks like Buhner. See the resemblance?.... HMMM

After the game we stayed with Nathan in Everett. Then on Sunday we went on a shot cruise ship to Blake Island National State Park, to visit Tillicum Village. Jorgen Seemed to like the trip over. He just watched the water and everything else that went by.

Blake Island National State Park is a small island, that Tillicum Village is on. There is a lot of culture and history to be learned on this cruise and island.

When you get off the boat, you are greeted by a few people that work in the Island, and you go through a line and get a cup of steamed clams. They are really good. Then you go inside and have a salmon lunch, as you are finishing your lunch the show starts, it is really fun to watch, Jorgen Fell asleep as soon as we go off the boat and slept until we got back on it.

Jorgen's First Tractor Ride

Mitch has been mowing wheat stubble for the last few days and we take lunch to him if he cant make it home for lunch. Well Yesterday Jorgen went on his first tractor ride with daddy. He fell asleep. So we came home. He also go to go on another ride today and he fell asleep again but only for about the first ten minutes. When he woke up he got to looking around and the front tire caught his eye. He watched it for a while then he watched the mower and all of the dust behind us. Over all he laughed and had a good time on his first and second tractor ride!

We finally got the fence up and almost done. We only have a small section left to put no climb horse fencing up and then the fence will be done... YAY! I am soo glad to get it all done. It looks really good. We have already gotten a lot of compliments about it.

Jorgen just recently started using his walker. He just wants to stand and play and jump so I started putting him in his walker. He loves it, he scoots around the kitchen at his own pace. When he gets stuck in the corner he get really mad and throws a fit.

Jorgen is Four Months old today. Time has gone by so fast I am planning on taking him in in the morning to get his shots. He can now roll over and he found his mouth. He is sucking on candy and oreos and meat. He loves Beef Jerky. He is teething and is a lively little guy. He take very short naps during the day and sleeps most through the night. He still wakes up at 4 AM and goes back to sleep with his bottle. I tried to put him in his crib but he didnt sleep in it. so we had to put him back in our room. well thats about all for his four month check in. i will let you all know more after the his four month well child check up.

Weekend on the coast!

This last weekend we went to Everett for Mitch's cousins wedding. It was a lot of fun, since I have never met that side of his family we got to see a lot of people. Mitch and Jorgen at the reception.

On Saturday Mitch went golfing with Nathan. They had a 6:15 Tee time. When they got home I asked Mitch to put Jorgen to sleep so I could take a shower and get dressed.

After I got all dressed, we went mini-golfing. Here are some pictures from that.

We had lots of fun, my camera batteries died while we were golfing so i didn't get any more pictures, next time i will have to remember to take extra ones.

While on our trip in Idaho, Mitch fed Jorgen while I was in the shower. When I got out Mitch was sitting on the floor with him and he was holding his own bottle. He held it until it was gone. He is getting so big so fast. He still tries to hold it, but is still not used to holding it himself, He is so smart. He is three months old and he can hold his bottle, roll over front to back and back to side, and he has his first tooth... i am proud of our little man...

For Father's Day we went up to Ponderay, ID (it is a little town out side of Sandpoint ID.) with Mitch's dad and family. We had lots of fun, and it was a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Mom, Jorgen n I went to Arizona this last week for Alexa's Graduation. Good Job, Lexy! We hung out with Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Pete, Uncle Pat, Aunt Cindy, and the kids.

I didn't get any pictures of this but Jorgen Rolled right off the bed today. I left him in bed with Mitch. When I left they were both asleep. As i was walking back int he room Jorgen was rolling right off my side of the bed. He is okay, just has a little bruise on his leg. Little bugger rolled over for the first time at 2 months.

Most nights by the time we get home and settled it is time for bath time and then bed. This is Jorgen's Favortie time of the night. He gets to splash and make a big mess in the bathroom with daddy. Just recently we have had to move his tub into the big bathtub so they dont make such a mess.

JORGEN HAD ARRIVED!

March 20 2009 we had a beautiful baby boy. His name is Jorgen Mitchell Jensen. He is his Mama and Daddy's pride and joy. He was 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 1/2 in long. Yes kind of a big boy but he is healthy. He looks just like his daddy. I went in March 19 for a scheduled induction and ended up having a c-section on march 20 at 6:30 am.
